Individual arrival to Magdeburg
Show dayBegin your adventure in Magdeburg, a city rich in history and charm. In the evening, attend a welcome meeting, where you’ll also receive your rental bike if booked. Afterward, explore the city’s attractions at your leisure. Overnight stay in Magdeburg.
Today’s route winds through quaint, picturesque villages, leading you to the town of Burg. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay here. (Approx. 30 km)
If you book the tour in 8 days to Hamburg or 10 days to Cuxhaven you cycle directly to Tangermünde (approx. 70 km).
Cycle towards Tangermünde, making sure to visit the Romanesque church in Jerichow on the way. Tangermünde’s historic old town and 800-year-old medieval castle make for memorable stops. Overnight in Tangermünde. (Approx. 40 km)
The “Alte Elbe” nature park provides a serene start to the day, featuring diverse birdlife and peaceful scenery. Pass by Storkau Palace en route to Havelberg, a city located at the confluence of the Havel and Elbe rivers. Don’t miss the Renaissance and Baroque architecture of its impressive cathedral. Overnight in Havelberg. (Approx. 50 km)
This leg takes you through Wittenberge, with its distinctive museum, and ends in the tranquil area of Gartow am See or its surroundings. Overnight in Wittenberge or Gartow am See. (Approx. 40–65 km)

Our self-guided tours
Accommodation is one of the most important parts of each trip that strongly influences the final look of it. We make our best to offer you the best possible accommodation in the prefered category. The hotels we offer are either comfortable small hotels or quite guesthouses both in 3* quality, all of it rather small and with personality than big chain. All the tours have accommodation in or near the town/village centres so you can spend the afternoon and evening after biking exploring the town itself or simply enjoy the peace of the place.

Lukas and his team was sensitive to our needs and were extremely flexible. The Prague city tour, in the day before leaving for the route is highly recommended! Helps everyone get to know the bike and make adjustments if needed and also get to know the abilities of the members of the group.
We really enjoyed the trip and the kind and professional services of the EBT team. I highly recommend the route from Prague to Drezn and definitely do it with the EBT team!
